Well, it seems we may have hand--foot--mouth disease instead of strep. The doctor's office called this morning and his overnight culture came back negative. And now his hands have a few spots. He seems to feel better, but his mouth is sore.
At least this should be our only time with this. I have heard you can only get it once!

sadly, i don't think that is true. i am pretty sure landon had it a few times.
Well,you are kind of right! Hand, Foot and Mouth disesase can be caused by several different viruses. Jonah more than likely wouln't get it again from whatever virus caused it this time, but that doesn't necessarily mean he couldn't get it from another virus. I hope he feels better soon. I know it makes them miserable!!
