Beeeeeeeeuuuuuuuutiful Day

Wasn't yesterday a beautiful day? You can tell from the pictures how sunny it was here. We headed to the pumpkin farm around 9, and I'm glad we did. By the time we left there were tons of people there! The Waldens do such a great job and keep improving the place each year. I think E's favorite is the animals--he just loves them. We got home in time for lunch and the boys to take a nap. Then we headed to run a few errands--always more fun as a family. We went to the toy store to look for a gift for J--He turns 1 next week!! E got him something, but mom and dad didn't--any suggestions??

S left today for a week-long bridge inspection, so the boys and I are haning out this week. We may head to grandparents for a little break. Today before S left, he asked if we could all pray together before he left. So we gathered in the living room on the floor. As soon as we sat down and held hands, E started singing "God our Father"--you know the blessing you sing at mealtimes? It is the prayer he knows best, so we all joined in. It brought a tear to my eye! After we sang, S continued and E repeated after him. It was such a sweet moment!

Looks like a fun place! Rachel gets to go on her first field trip on Oct. 30th and they're going to a farm and get to pick out pumpkins. There's also a corn maze and hay ride for them, but we'll have to see how she's doing with her allergy & asthma to see whether or not she gets to do those things. That's 2 of the things that the doctor said she shouldn't do because of her specific allergies, but we'll see. Looks like the boys had a good time.
