I can't remember the last time my husband took a day off, much less two! He is definitely deserving of a little R&R. We have been planning a weekend getaway for a few months now, and it looks like it might actually happen this weekend. I am SO excited!! He is taking off Thursday and Friday for some fun around here. He doesn't get to do the "fun" stuff with the boys during the week, so he is this week. He especially wants to go to the Discovery Center with them. He will love it as much as they do! We were there today and saw some snakes out in the swamps. E told S about it, but said they (the snakes) couldn't stay forever, so he (S) wouldn't get to see them Friday! On Friday afternoon we are leaving the boys with grandparents and we are going to a B&B for the weekend.
On our first date ever we went to a play at a local playhouse. We are headed back there this weekend for another play. On that first date S didn't think all the way through things, so we got to the town and he realized he didn't have plans for dinner. We ended up at the Ponderosa, with all the old folks! It was quite funny, but obviously he swept me off my feet anyway! This weekend we will not revisit the Ponderosa, but it will be great fun!!

Our first date at a restaurant was Shoney's...this helps prove it's not the place but the people, right?
Our first date was dinner at Ponderosa and then back to Robert's apartment to watch a Braves game! Those Sparta men sure know how to show a girl a good time!!!
I'm so glad that your weekend away is going to happen. What play are you going to see? Have fun!!
