Easter Egg Hunt

Sunday afternoon the Knights, the Zehrs, and the Halls came over. The weather ended up being great for the egg hunt and the kids ended up playing outside almost the entire evening! The men and the big kids hid all the eggs--well over 100! Then we let the kids loose to find them. It took them a little longer than I thought it might, but we have a pretty big yard. They all seemed to have a good time. We had a "grand prize egg" with some $$. S hid it and thought it was just the best place ever. Well, there was a little confusion about where the big kids could look and what was only for the little kids. So, E ended up finding the grand prize egg almost right off the bat! I tried to steer him away, but he came back to it--even showing it to Emma who kindly let him get it. It was stuck way back in one of the evergreen trees. So, E ended up with it. But all the kids had their bucket/basket full and eggs were filled with everything from candy to coins to toys! Here are a few pics...
